Zero Traffic
Zero Traffic finds indexed pages earning almost no clicks. Every site accumulates them, and they’re not harmless: they dilute your site’s quality signals and crawl budget while contributing nothing.
Find it under Optimization → Zero Traffic in your campaign sidebar. Requires a GSC connection.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”Click Find Zero Traffic Pages. StoryMint scans your GSC data for pages with impressions or indexation but effectively no clicks, and lists them as opportunities.
The three-way decision
Section titled “The three-way decision”For each zero-traffic page, pick one:
- Revive — the topic is worth it, the execution wasn’t. Rework the page: check what queries it almost surfaces for (impressions without clicks), cover the sub-queries properly, and make it genuinely answer something.
- Merge — the content is thin but the topic belongs inside a stronger page. Fold it into the pillar and redirect. Consolidation handles this pattern at scale.
- Remove — the page serves no one (expired promos, near-duplicate tags, boilerplate). Delete and redirect to the closest relevant page.
Prioritizing
Section titled “Prioritizing”Start with zero-traffic pages that have high impressions — Google is showing them, searchers just never choose them, so a revival has a running start (often it’s really a CTR problem). Pages with no impressions at all are usually merge-or-remove cases.
