Brand Voice
Brand Voice defines how your brand sounds — and rather than asking you to describe it, StoryMint extracts it from content you already have. Provide sample text, and the analysis produces a structured voice profile that every generated draft then follows.
Find it under Content → Brand Voice in your campaign sidebar. It’s step 2 of the setup checklist.
Extract your brand voice
Section titled “Extract your brand voice”- Setup — provide content that sounds like you: your best articles, web copy, or emails. The better the sample represents your voice, the better the extraction.
- Analyzing — StoryMint extracts the voice from your sample.
- Results — review the extracted guidelines. Once saved, the voice is used to keep all generated content and persona interactions consistent.
What the voice profile contains
Section titled “What the voice profile contains”- Communication Style — the overall register, e.g. Conversational
- Personality Traits — the handful of traits that define the voice
- Tone Description — a fuller description of how the brand sounds
- Do’s & Don’ts — concrete writing rules to follow and avoid
- Vocabulary Guidelines — words and phrases to include, and ones to avoid (10 of each)
Expand each section to review the details. Export PDF produces a shareable voice guide — handy for briefing writers or clients outside StoryMint.
Keeping it current
Section titled “Keeping it current”Click Re-analyze with new sample content when your voice evolves — after a rebrand, or when you notice generated drafts no longer sound right. The voice is per-campaign, so each brand you manage keeps its own.
