Content Gaps
The Content Gap Analyzer finds the topics a persona cares about that your site doesn’t cover yet — the questions your audience is asking that currently have no answer from you.
Find it under Content → Content Gaps in your campaign sidebar.
Run an analysis
Section titled “Run an analysis”The tool is a four-step flow:
- Select Persona — choose whose content opportunities to analyze; the persona’s pain points and questions drive the search.
- Select Keyword — pick the search term to analyze around.
- Analyzing — StoryMint processes the data.
- Results — review the opportunities: untapped topics, ranked and ready to act on.
Past runs stay under Previous Analyses, so you can revisit an analysis without spending another one.
From gap to published content
Section titled “From gap to published content”Gap results feed the rest of the pipeline:
- The campaign content engine tags its ideas with the gap they close — the Gap badge — and its Write button opens the Content Writer with the topic loaded.
- For gaps in AI answers specifically (where competitors get cited and you don’t), pair this with the AI Citation Audit and Query Fan-Out — a page that closes a content gap should also cover the sub-queries assistants check.
Choosing what to close first
Section titled “Choosing what to close first”Not all gaps are equal. Prioritize gaps that appear for your highest-share personas (see the audience percentages on persona cards) and topics that also show up in your overview’s AI search briefing lane — those close a content gap and an AI-visibility gap with one piece.
