Trend Spotter
Trend Spotter finds rising topics in your market before your competitors catch them — powered by Google Trends data, scoped to the country you choose.
Find it under Content → Trend Spotter in your campaign sidebar, or via Spot more in the campaign overview’s content engine. (Available on Business and Agency plans — see plans.)
Run a trend scan
Section titled “Run a trend scan”The flow is three steps:
- Configure — pick the Target Region (the country whose trend data to scan) and add Keywords: short search terms (1–2 words) related to your business. Not sure what to add? Suggest Keywords proposes them from your campaign.
- Discovering — StoryMint scans for rising trends (roughly 30 seconds per keyword).
- Results — review the opportunities: what’s climbing, and how it connects to your business.
Past scans stay under Past Analyses with how many trends each found.
Getting good results
Section titled “Getting good results”- Seed broadly, not narrowly. Keywords like serviced apartment or wellness travel catch rising variations; an exact long phrase catches almost nothing.
- Match the region to the campaign. An Indonesian-language campaign should scan Indonesia — trends differ sharply by country.
- Zero trends found is information too — nothing is rising around those keywords right now; try adjacent seeds.
From trend to content
Section titled “From trend to content”Speed is the whole point: a trend is only an advantage while it’s still rising. Send promising trends into the Content Writer while they’re fresh, and slot them into the Content Calendar ahead of your evergreen pipeline.
