Market Sentiment
The Market Sentiment Analyzer discovers what the market is actually saying about your brand — scanning public conversations and content for your chosen keywords and reading the sentiment behind them.
Find it under Market → Market Sentiment in your campaign sidebar. (Available on Business and Agency plans — see plans.)
Run an analysis
Section titled “Run an analysis”- Configure the search:
- Keyword to Analyze — pick one. StoryMint suggests useful patterns automatically (e.g. your brand, [brand] review, [brand] complaints, [brand] vs, [brand] alternatives), or add a custom keyword.
- Date Range — e.g. last 30 days.
- Excluded Domains — your own domain is auto-excluded (you want the market’s voice, not your own site); add others to ignore, like your subsidiary sites.
- Persona Filter — select which personas to analyze the findings against.
- Click Start Analysis — it takes about 2–3 minutes.
- Results — the sentiment insights for that keyword.
Past runs are kept under Analysis History.
Reading between the keywords
Section titled “Reading between the keywords”The suggested keyword patterns each answer a different question:
- [brand] review / [brand] experience — what customers say after buying
- [brand] complaints / [brand] service — where your reputation risk lives
- [brand] vs / [brand] alternatives — how you appear in comparison-shopping conversations, which is also where AI assistants form their recommendations
Findings feed content decisions: recurring complaints are FAQ and content topics; comparison chatter tells you which competitor analysis to run next.
